Species: Pogonognathellus flavescens (Tullberg, 1871) Moderately common, wide spread.
A large tranquil springtail with long antennas, as long as the body.
The antennas are curled up as the animal comes in the wind.
The end of the fourth antenna segment is spiked and this part is much shorter than the third segment.
The animals are completely covered with light grey scales.
